The PCB has opted to send the national squad to India for the competition despite the uncertainties surrounding the Asia Cup. The announcement of the schedule could happen within the next 48 hours. On October 13, Pakistan’s first game is probably going to be against a qualifying team. A day later, they’ll play India.

In the next Pakistan vs. India game at the ODI World Cup in 2023, the two countries will once again exclusively interact at ICC-approved activities. In their most recent match, India won by 4 wickets in the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup.

The full tournament schedule will be made public soon by the Board of Cricket Control for India (BCCI). On October 5, England and New Zealand are rumoured to play their opening match.
